Hoffman Farms

Hoffman Homes for Sale:

Hoffman Farms is a neighborhood of homes within the Hilliard City School District bordered by Leppert Rd. to the East, Scioto-Darby Road to the South, Heritage Rails to Trails on the North and farm fields on the West.  It includes 5 subdivisions: Hoffman Farms, Hoffman Farms West, The Reserve at Hoffman Farms, The Estates at Hoffman Farms and the Village at Homestead.  The neighborhood encompasses the Ray Patch Hilliard YMCA and has walk/bike trails throughout to make access to Homestead Park, Hilliard Family Aquatic Center, Memorial Park, Metro Parks and HSA Soccer fields very easy.  All the schools are within a mile or 2 of every home in the neighborhood. As of the 2015-2016 school year the school tract for Hoffman Farms is Hoffman Trails Elementary, Station Sixth Grade, Heritage Middle and Darby High School.

Home Prices in the neighborhood vary depending on the location and age of the home from the $290,000's to the $490,000's.  Since some building requirements changed as the neighborhood developed, the size of the homes gradually increases thru each phase.  Generally homes are about 2500-2800 square feet, with a 2 or 3 car garage and a basement of some sort...either full or partial.  The homes that sell the quickest tend to have finished basements and outdoor living spaces.  In August of 2018 the average Hoffman home was listed at $364,989 and sold for $351,531 which is $139/sq ft. and was on the market for 30 days.

Every June, the Neighborhood Garage Sale, Sponsored by Tammy Marquardt of e-Merge Real Estate, draws crowds and raises awareness for the Children's Hospital Reach Out and Read Program thru a book drive.  Each year, the neighbors in the Hoffman Farms Neighborhood donate over 500 books to the Reach Out and Read Program. Also popular at the Garage sale is The Lemon Trails 5K Run/Walk lemonade stand.

There is a monthly neighborhood newsletter called "The Hoffman Times" that is delivered to each mailbox and discusses current issues facing the neighborhood, schools or area and also publishes up-to-date housing sales information.
